Facts You Need To Know About Air/Oil Separators

 

M-20 Air/Oil Separators are the most technologically advanced separators in aviation.  Their performance is proven every flight.  They Control Blow-by so the oil stays full.  No others come close. 

 

 The M-20 Air/Oil Separators’ proven performance blasts all unsupportable advertising claims.  Proof is on your dipstick every pre-flight:

2.  only an M-20 can CONTROL Blow-by. 

3.  With Blow-by controlled, oil “burn” is typically only ½  to 1 quart between oil changes, based on engine size and condition.

Already have a separator that forces you to start 2 quarts low and hides the oil it cannot separate in a filter?  Look in that filter.  It  emulsifies dirty oil into sludge which contaminates your engine.  Save maintenance cost and your engine life.   Scrap it and upgrade to an M-20.

2.      FULL oil provides greater cooling of CHT, EGT (and TIT on turbo’d engines).

a.      That is generally enough to lean 2 GPH to 4 GPH less fuel flow than book settings and stay safely rich of peak.

b.      Savings amount to $14,000 to $28,000 at today’s fuel prices.  Add this to the engine life savings, above.  Do the arithmetic yourself.
